We are in the process of completing our fire rebuild with SkyFarm Construction. Our situation was a

bit different from many as it was a ‘rescue’ job since we found it necessary to terminate work on the

rebuild well before completion. We contacted people in the industry as part of our search for a

replacement builder and SkyFarm was highly recommended.

SkyFarm offered us a reasonable – and understandable – quote and contract to complete the project

with the understanding that there were pre-existing problems that would have to be addressed. I’m

pleased to report that SkyFarm dealt with these problems directly and at very reasonable cost.

Work has progressed on our rebuild as expeditiously as materials availability has allowed. There have,

of course, been some change orders all of which were initiated by us and were properly presented to us

in advance of work and dealt with professionally, reasonably and without any surcharges so often

encountered. We have been kept involved in work being done in order to ensure desired results and

prevent problems rather than having to fix them.

One of our goals was to get back into our home before Christmas and SkyFarm made that difficult task

happen even though the house was not fully completed. Now we are experiencing final work done on

the house while we are living in it and our only real issue has been with the long lead times for

products which have to be shipped.

All in all, we are delighted with SkyFarm and the home they built for us. Well done and recommended.

A burst upstairs waterline caused severe damage throughout our house. The reconstruction included a complete remodeling and updating of our downstairs bathroom, including: Tearing out and replacing the old tub/shower with an expanded glass and tile shower, replacing the vanity and double sinks with a granite topped vanity, all new bathroom and lighting fixtures, new custom mirrors, and new floor and wall tiling. We interviewed and researched several contractors and settled on Skyfarm Construction as our contractor. We appreciated the personal service from Ean Coyle, the positive feedback we received from their former clients, the pricing and their availability.

The work started promptly and we were very satisfied with the way Skyfarm’s employees and subs proceeded with the project, the quality of the work and the way the site and surrounding area were set up to minimize dust and dirt. We were especially pleased with the availability of the project manager on the few occasions that their input was needed to resolve the sort of issues that can arise with any construction project.

We were close to completion of the project when the Corona Virus came to town and shortly thereafter we were required to shut the project down. Skyfarm maintained contact with us throughout the shutdown and restarted when the county restrictions on construction allowed them to. We very much appreciated their adherence to guidelines that were meant to protect both us and them from an unsafe working environment.

Shortly after the work was completed, we were able to safely host our grandchildren and their parents at our home for several weeks. All agreed that the bathroom was a beautiful upgrade and a great addition to the house.

SkyFarm was recommended to us by someone in the building industry because our job is a fire-rebuild ‘rescue’ from another builder and there is both repair and new work to be done. We are quite pleased with SkyFarm – their rates are reasonable compared to the industry in general plus the quote was very straightforward and we found that there have been no surprise extra-cost ‘Change Orders’ baked in as so often is the case. We have experienced professional behavior from Ean and a very high level of cooperation in addressing potential problem areas early.

We are in the last phases of our rebuild and continue to be positive on SkyFarm as we approach completion. The obvious question is whether we would hire them again and the answer is a resounding YES.

I had extreme water damage. My kitchen was damaged to the point of having to be demolished and completely redone, all my wood floors, and paint needed to be done. We were barely into our project, remodeling two bathrooms (one extensively) when the pandemic hit. Ean and Skyfarm Constructiion acknowledged their obligations, which we appreciated very much, and also kept in contact with us as the project naturally took on new dimensions, particularly as to how long it was going to take and when workers would be available. The end result was a unique showcase guest bathroom from what had been a cramped and not well utilized space. Ean was very responsive throughout the process, came in on budget under challenging circumstances, and paid particular attention to keeping the workspace from effecting the rest of the house.
